Alexandria, VA Air Conditioning Repair & Service
History
Alexandria can trace its origins back to the early 18th century. Although the region had been sparsely settled by Native American tribes for hundreds or thousands of years prior to this time, sustained agriculture didn't come to the area until the Europeans' arrival. During colonial times, Alexandria was a sleepy tobacco-farming town that contributed to the emerging maritime industry on the nearby Potomac River. The Civil War devastated the community, and local leaders continue to put on annual commemorative events that chronicle this toll. After a lengthy rebuilding period, Alexandria emerged as a key bedroom community for Washington, D.C. It's now a thriving business and government hub.
